Rule 72 in finance: What’s the point?

Rightly, the rule is a method used to analyze and estimate the doubling time of the growing element (in this case, that of an average capital). The method is simple, we take the number 72 and divide it by its % rate in terms of return. In the end, you will get the lapse of time (in years) that it will take to double. More details in video.
